You will receive your documents by email. Print out your exchange or return slip. You can either print the shipping label or show the QR code at the DHL drop-off point.

Exchanges & Returns (DE & AT)

Yes, exchanges are possible. If an item from your order does not fit, you can exchange it for a different size in the same colour. Exchanges are processed via our exchange & returns portal. In Germany, exchanges are free of charge. In Austria, we charge a flat fee of €4.95 for an exchange.

You can exchange or return your order within 30 days of receiving it. Please make sure the items are securely packaged, as regardless of the information provided on the exchange or return slip, we can only exchange or refund items that actually reach us.

You can exchange your item quickly and easily via our exchange & returns portal. In Germany, exchanges are free of charge. In Austria, we charge a flat fee of €4.95 per exchange. Your replacement item will be shipped free of charge as soon as the original item has arrived with us.

If you return one or more items under your statutory right of withdrawal, we charge a flat return fee of €2.95 in Germany and €7.95 in Austria when you use the return label provided via our exchange & returns portal. This fee also applies if you exchange one item and return another at the same time. In Austria, if you combine an exchange and a return, both the exchange fee of €4.95 and the return fee of €7.95 will be charged.

All customers in Germany and Austria can create the documents for exchanging or returning their items themselves via our exchanges and returns portal. Simply follow the steps on the page. You can find full instructions HERE.

It usually takes 3–5 days for your parcel to reach us. We then process it within 2–4 working days. You can track the status of your return or exchange at any time using your tracking number.

If you have requested an exchange, we will send the new item to you free of charge once the original item has been received and processed by us. You will receive a dispatch confirmation by email as soon as the exchange item has been sent.

Of course, you are welcome to drop off your return with us. We appreciate your effort. Simply bring your return to our SPORTKIND office in Augsburg.

Return:
If you have ordered an item from us that does not fit or that you do not like, you can return it within 30 days. In Germany and Austria, returns can be registered via our exchange & returns portal. When using the return label provided via the portal, a flat return fee of €2.95 in Germany and €7.95 in Austria will apply.

Complaint:
Nobody is perfect. If the item you ordered is faulty, you can submit a complaint via our complaints form even after the 30-day return period. We will then review your complaint and, where applicable, refund the amount paid.

Please also register the return on the Klarna website. To do this, open the order and click on ‘Register return’. Then select which products you would like to return. Your payment will be paused until the return has been processed. Klarna will then inform you of the updated invoice amount. If you have already paid, you will usually receive the refund within 3 to 5 working days.

Yes, that is absolutely possible. If you would like to return items from multiple orders in one parcel, please register each return separately via our exchange & returns portal. A flat return fee of €2.95 in Germany and €7.90 in Austria will initially be applied to each registered return. Since only one return label is actually needed for shipping, we will refund the return fees for all unused returns afterwards.

Please make sure to use only one return label for shipping and include the return documents for all registered items in the parcel so that we can allocate everything correctly and process your return as quickly as possible.

Tip: If you are unable to include the return slip(s), simply add a short written note listing which items you are returning, from which order, and for what reason. Do not forget to include each order number. That way, nothing can go wrong.

Returns (EU)

You can return your order within 30 days of receiving it. Please make sure the items are securely packaged, as regardless of the information provided on the return slip, we can only refund items that actually reach us.

Unfortunately, for returns from EU countries other than Germany and Austria, we are currently unable to cover the return shipping costs or offer a discounted return option via our exchange & returns portal. We are already working on a suitable solution for these countries.

Please make sure your return is sufficiently prepaid and send it via the post office or a shipping provider of your choice. Please send your return to:

Please keep your proof of postage in a safe place, as it serves as proof until your return has arrived with us. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any parcels sent to us unpaid.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to send this document again. Please include a note in your parcel listing the items you are returning to us. In addition to the item numbers, please make sure to include your address and order number so that we can process and identify your return without any issues. Alternatively, you can enclose a copy of your invoice and mark the relevant items accordingly.

For returns from EU countries other than Germany and Austria, return shipping costs must currently be covered by the customer, as we are not yet able to offer a discounted return option via our exchange & returns portal. Yes, absolutely — in fact, we really appreciate it! It is better for the environment. The important thing is that you include the relevant return slip for each order in the parcel. This is the only way we can match the returns correctly and arrange your refund as quickly as possible.

Faulty item claim:
Nobody is perfect. If the item you ordered is faulty, you can submit a claim via our faulty item claim form even after the 30-day return guarantee period. We will then review your claim and, where applicable, refund the amount paid.

Returns (outside the EU)

The following rules apply to Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway, Liechtenstein, and destinations outside Europe.

If you are ordering from Switzerland or Liechtenstein, please do not send your return directly to SPORTKIND, but to our logistics partner in Switzerland instead. They will handle the return customs clearance and forwarding to Germany, so no customs-related accompanying documents or CN22 form are required. Please send your return to the following address:

Please complete the return form enclosed with your parcel in full. Pack your return securely and include the completed form in the parcel. An additional copy of the invoice is not required.

Important: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping within Switzerland. The onward transport to Germany is included in the original shipping fee. Returns that are nevertheless sent directly to SPORTKIND in Germany and have to be collected from customs, subject to duty, cause considerable additional effort. In such cases, we reserve the right to deduct a processing fee of €25 from the refund amount.

Returns from countries outside the EU are currently not free of charge. Return labels cannot currently be created via our exchange & returns portal. Please make sure your return is sufficiently prepaid and send it to our office using a shipping provider of your choice.

1. Pack your items in a parcel and include the return slip.

2. Attach two copies of the original purchase invoice to the outside of the shipping box. Please use transparent document pouches for this. This allows customs in the destination country to recognise that the parcel is a return. In addition, you should write the word ‘Return’ clearly and prominently on the parcel.

Tip: Please also check the return conditions that apply to your delivery country so that your parcel reaches us safely in any case. If we have to collect your parcel from customs, we reserve the right to deduct a fee of €25 from the refund amount, as this involves considerable effort.

3. Make sure the parcel is sufficiently prepaid and send it to the following address using a shipping provider of your choice:

Customs charges: Returns from non-European countries may incur customs charges. These costs must be borne by the customer. This mainly affects returns from Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway and Liechtenstein.

€25 fee: If we have to collect the return directly from customs because not all customs requirements have been met, we reserve the right to deduct a fee of €25 from the refund amount.

2% restocking fee for returns with a value of €500 or more: For returns made under our voluntary return policy, we reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee of 2% of the total return value if the value of the returned goods is €500 or more. This does not apply to returns made under your statutory right of withdrawal.

Refunds

Once we have received your return, it will be processed and checked by us. You will usually receive your refund within 7 working days. However, this also depends on your bank and your payment method.

Note for returns from Switzerland:
If your parcel is sent via our service provider and forwarded to Germany, it may take up to 12 days for your return to reach us. It will then go through our usual inspection and refund process. Please therefore allow a little more time overall for your refund.

For returns made under our voluntary return policy, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 2% of the total return value if the value of the returned goods is €500 or more. This fee is intended to cover the increased logistical and administrative effort involved in processing larger returns. It does not apply to returns made under your statutory right of withdrawal.

If the customs requirements for returning your parcel from your country were not met correctly, the parcel may be held by customs. In such cases, we may need to collect the parcel in person before we can process your return. Because this results in considerable additional effort and costs, we reserve the right to deduct a handling fee of €25 from the refund amount.

Returns from the EU:

We will also refund the standard outbound shipping costs, except in the following cases:

You return only part of your order.

You exchange one or more items from your order.

Please note: If you selected premium shipping at checkout, we will only refund the cost of the standard shipping method. Any additional express surcharge will not be refunded.

Please also note: If your order originally qualified for free shipping to Germany or Austria for orders over €200 and the order value falls below €200 due to a return, the originally waived shipping costs will be charged retrospectively or deducted from the refund amount.

Returns from outside the EU:

Unfortunately, shipping costs will not be refunded for returns of goods that were shipped to non-EU countries or to Greece, Croatia, Portugal and Sweden.

Unfortunately, shipping costs are not refunded for returns of goods delivered to non-EU countries or to Greece, Croatia, Portugal and Sweden.

If you used a voucher (E-Card) to pay for your order and then return your order, we will also refund the value of the voucher to your gift card. The gift card will then be active again and can be used for your next order.

If you return only part of your order, we may reload your gift card on a proportional basis.

If you selected Klarna as your payment method, the refund will also be processed by Klarna. Once you register your return on the Klarna website, you will usually receive your refund within 3 to 5 working days after the return has been received.

Please note that we work with Klarna as our payment provider. For this reason, we are unable to manage Klarna payments ourselves.
